Fix The Problems Holding Your Business Back
Headwaters Organizational Development helps businesses and leaders make measurable positive change. By aligning culture, people, and processes, we can solve the problems holding companies back and help them achieve lasting success.
Better work. Better performance. Better results.
When culture, systems, and people are aligned, things feel better and work better. That alignment creates the foundation for consistent performance and long-term success.
Although much of what I share with businesses is inspiring and motivational, the end goal isn’t to make people feel good—it’s to help companies run smoother, build loyalty, and see measurable improvements.
Here’s what the results can look like for clients who achieve alignment:
Lower employee turnover and higher retention of top talent
Clear, consistent outcomes backed by defined metrics
Stronger trust and collaboration among leaders and departments
Faster, more effective communication across teams
Less time spent in meetings and more time doing meaningful, aligned work
Boosted morale and deeper engagement from employees
A better customer experience driven by confident, capable people
Streamlined processes directly tied to company objectives
What’s Possible When Things Align
Expertise Grounded In Firsthand Experience
This isn’t insight from the sidelines. It’s perspective earned from years in the field and in the boardroom.
I spent 25 years in commercial construction—one of the most demanding business environments. I started by swinging a hammer and worked my way up to managing $100M projects and serving on executive leadership teams. I’ve been involved with every major function of a business —from fieldwork to finance, HR to operations —and I know what drives success: strong culture, clear processes, and leaders who elevate their people.
What sets me apart isn’t just experience—it’s perspective. I understand how individual components of a business operate, and how they influence each other as part of a larger system. I see how culture, processes, and people are interconnected—and how strengthening one without the others won’t get you where you want to go.
I also bring a unique ability to see people clearly, build trust quickly, and create the psychological safety that teams need to solve real problems. My work often involves acting as a translator—between departments, between leadership levels, and between individuals who need help aligning around a common goal.

When the work experience gets better, everything gets better.
After years of building projects of all shapes and sizes, I realized the real problems were rarely technical—they were in the gaps between people, priorities, and processes. Teams that couldn’t communicate. Leaders who felt isolated. Good people walking out the door because leadership didn't know how to listen, much less how to make change.
So I shifted my focus. I stopped building buildings and started helping build companies that work—companies where people are empowered, leadership is aligned, and systems support real performance.
This work matters to me because I know what it feels like to be on both sides of a broken system. I’ve seen the toll it takes on people, the struggle of those trying to change it, and I’ve seen what’s possible when things start to click. A better work experience leads to better lives—and better businesses.
